Fine lines above the bodice
In Pacífico, pearl-edged fine straps continue into a low open back crossed by narrow lines. Cher uses spaghetti straps above a straight, slightly square neckline, floral lace and a shaped corset. The straps are similarly narrow, but the two backs and fabric surfaces differ.
Placement matters
The distance between straps at the front and their path across the back can change the upper line as much as width does. Pacific’s crossing back leaves the lace sheath light and open; Cher’s laced low back adds a more defined corset detail beneath the straps. Broader alternatives appear in the straps selection.
Do thin straps provide all the support?
No conclusion follows from width alone. Cher has a shaped corset bodice with vertical structure, and Pacific uses a different narrow base. At a boutique fitting, the bodice and straps should be assessed together.
