Removable sleeves change the upper line
Aimee has a strapless sweetheart bodice and separate lace sleeves that rest below the elbow. With them, fine texture frames the arms; without them, the structured Mikado skirt and embroidered bodice remain visible. Mimosa uses detachable floral lace sleeves that widen into a soft bell opening near the wrist.
Two base dresses, two sleeve effects
Aimee’s full Mikado skirt and Mimosa’s fitted mermaid skirt stay in place when the sleeves come off. The change is concentrated above the waist: Aimee gains a delicate lace frame below the elbow, while Mimosa carries its floral surface to a flared wrist. Eva Lendel’s bell-sleeve dresses show that widening lower-arm line in other designs.
The included pieces and attachment points vary by gown. Compare both configurations at the fitting, with attention to the neckline and back after the sleeves are removed. The distinction matters more than a generic promise of “two looks”.
