A broad interpretation of minimal bridal style
Eva Lendel lists 63 designs in Less Is More II: 20 A-line gowns, 29 mermaid styles, seven ball gowns, two jumpsuits and five midi-length dresses. Those numbers make the collection unusually varied in proportion. An A-line skirt moves away from the waist, while a mermaid gown stays close through the hips before widening below. The jumpsuits and midi looks extend the range beyond traditional floor-length wedding dresses.
The common thread is the relationship between a clear silhouette and one expressive addition. Detachable capes, trains, overskirts and boleros sit alongside smooth lightweight fabrics and dimensional lace decoration. A removable outer piece can change the outline for an entrance or photographs; without it, the underlying cut remains visible. That makes the collection useful for comparing how the same bridal mood can read as soft, fitted or dramatic.
Looking at the details
Consider the dress itself first, then the added element: where does the waist sit, how does the fabric fall, and what changes when a cape or overskirt is removed? This approach makes it easier to distinguish an A-line gown from a fuller ball gown and a close mermaid cut from a straighter look.
