Sevier

A lace-lined slit interrupts Sevier's smooth satin column, giving the dress its sharpest point of contrast. The ivory base is shaped by a straight strapless neckline, draped corset bodice, visible boning, and a slightly dropped waist. Satin ruching crosses the bodice and upper hip, keeping the surface active while the skirt stays narrow through a sheath and fit-and-flare line. When the dress moves, the slit reveals lace through the leg line, breaking the clean satin front with texture. As a standalone dress, Sevier feels sculpted and controlled, finishing with a sweep train. The detachable cape changes the upper body by crossing the shoulders in an off-shoulder line and adding short sleeve coverage. It does not create a new skirt shape; it softens the neckline and gives the satin column a second, more wrapped reading.
