Details that frame the dress
Eva Lendel’s veils and accessories include pieces for the hair, earrings and other finishing elements. A handcrafted approach inspired by white flowers uses silk and other fine fabrics. Petal shapes, floral headbands and delicate earrings can add a focal point near the face, while a veil changes the outline from shoulder to hem.
Eva Lendel says its designers spend 8–15 hours making each piece, paying attention to seams, folds and pearls. The selection covers several accessory types, from long veils to smaller hair and jewelry details.
Matching scale and texture
Start with the gown: a smooth bodice may leave room for a more textured headpiece, while a lace dress may call for a simpler veil edge. Hairstyle and neckline matter too, since a floral piece near the ears has a different visual effect from a long veil behind the shoulders. Each choice can be judged as part of the full look rather than as a separate ornament.
A headband with blossoms, a small pair of earrings and a long veil each sit at a different distance from the face and dress. Compare their scale in full-length photographs before deciding which detail should draw the eye first.
Are the pieces handmade?
Eva Lendel describes the accessories as handcrafted and gives an 8–15 hour design-and-making estimate for each piece.
See the wedding collection index to compare accessories with the gowns. The restrained silhouettes in Kiss of Silence and the floral textures of Venus offer two distinct starting points.
