Princess-waist wedding dresses at Eva Lendel
This selection brings together two ball-gown designs whose fitted bodices release into substantial skirt volume. The front transition is a defining visual feature, yet the materials and construction give each dress a different character.
Romero and Kirel
Romero uses crisp ivory taffeta above broad gathered folds and a cathedral train. Its fitted bodice meets the skirt at a dual-layered waistline. Removable sheer sleeves or a structured bolero can also change the shoulder profile without changing that central transition.
Kirel takes a more transparent route: floral lace overlays its structured bodice, then the waist dips into a distinct front point before a multi-layered tulle skirt expands below. A square neckline and narrow straps keep the upper edge clear against the fullness of the lower half.
Two distinct transitions
Romero’s dual-layered waistline and Kirel’s front point are visibly different constructions. Their shared category is most useful as a way to explore fitted bodices above expansive skirts; it does not imply one fixed seam pattern.
