A Short Bridal Look with a Longer Rear Line
Thalia is the design shown at this length. Its strapless bodice has a folded straight neckline above the natural waist. At the front, a high opening reveals lace shorts; at the side, a pleated panel continues into a chapel train. The result has the exposure of a short bridal look without an evenly cropped skirt.
How Thalia differs from a mini hem
The lace underlayer is visible through the front opening, while the train keeps a longer outline in profile and behind. An optional long-sleeve lace bolero can add a high illusion neckline and covered back, changing the upper half without removing that front-to-back length contrast.
For a consistent above-knee skirt, mini wedding dresses provide a clearer comparison. High-low hems also vary front and back length, but Thalia’s revealed shorts and separate pleated side panel make its construction more specific.
